Drew Adams Shines in Early AMA Pro Motocross Performance
Colorado, 2025 — Kawasaki’s rising star, Drew Adams, is making strides in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, following his ascension through the amateur ranks. Competing full-time this season, Adams has quickly demonstrated his potential amid a competitive field.
In his early races, Adams logged finishes of 15th and 11th in 2024 before achieving a series of moto results: 9th, 14th, 19th, 7th, 5th, and a challenging 34th due to mechanical issues, landing him 13th overall in Colorado. Notably, his fifth-place finish in the first moto showcased his growing prowess, as he managed to navigate through the pack despite less-than-ideal starting positions.
Adams commented on his Colorado experience, expressing frustration but also optimism: “I qualified seventh and felt good going into the motos. In Moto 1, I didn’t get the best start but was able to work my way up to fifth. Moto 2 started solid, but a tip-over pushed me back, and a mechanical issue ended my race early. It’s frustrating when things happen outside your control, but there were definitely positives to take away. I’m focused on bouncing back next weekend.”
As Adams acclimates to the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki, expectations are high for improved performances at familiar tracks, including RedBud and Ironman, where he has previous experience from MX Sports Scouting Moto Combines. With his current trajectory, the #98 is poised to secure more top-ten finishes in upcoming events.
