Technical Update: Italian RX Range Enhancements
In a significant leap for performance and reliability, the latest Italian RX models feature several key enhancements ideal for competitive motocross environments.
Frame and Structural Improvements
The frame maintains its established geometry but now includes a cast-in brace around the steering neck, enhancing reliability and stiffness in the most stressed areas. A strengthened bearing structure in the radiators mitigates deformation under heavy-duty conditions, ensuring optimal operation during intense rides.
Suspension and Braking Systems
Equipped with specialized Kayaba (KYB) suspensions—featuring a 48mm fork and a 50mm single shock—these models provide superior rideability and stability at high speeds. Complementing the suspension is a Nissin braking system, which incorporates floating calipers paired with 260mm Galfer discs at the front and 240mm at the rear, delivering exceptional modular braking power.
Lightweight Features
The aluminum rear sub-frame offers a perfect balance between stiffness and weight, while an intuitive, tool-free access design simplifies maintenance. Additionally, the non o-ring chain is implemented for reduced weight and smoother operation, and a lithium battery ensures lighter configurations for quicker starts.
Control and Customization
The RX models come equipped with dual engine maps (wet and dry), alongside advanced traction control options for the 4-Stroke variant, allowing for tailored performance across diverse terrains. Riders can easily select engine maps and traction settings via conveniently placed controls on the handlebar.
Additional Enhancements
Xtrig Flexfit handlebar silent block mounts enhance grip and control by reducing vibrations, further optimizing rider experience.
All RX models will include a triangle stand for added convenience, while the 4-Stroke variant features four throttle pulleys for fine-tuning acceleration.
This range represents a compelling blend of technical precision and rider-focused functionality, reinforcing the competitive edge for both amateur and professional motocross riders.
