Masterpool Settles into Pro Circuit Kawasaki Ahead of Competitive Season
Corona, California — In a late 2024 signing, Masterpool has integrated smoothly with the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. The Texas native currently sits seventh in the Pro Motocross standings, showcasing impressive speed amidst fierce competition.
Reflecting on his experience, Masterpool expressed gratitude toward team owner Mitch Payton and the crew. “I really like the team… made some good improvements on the bike after the first couple of rounds,” he stated. Following positive adjustments in bike performance, he noted significant progress during his recent training in Texas.
The 250cc championship is particularly challenging this year. "It’s gnarly," Masterpool remarked. “I definitely feel like it is the most stacked it has ever been. You could get a bad start, like I did last weekend at High Point, and still have to battle through a field that includes former race winners and champions.” This level of competition underscores the intensity of the sport, with lap times in qualifying showing minimal separation even among the top 20 riders.
When asked about the dominant championship leader Haiden Deegan, Masterpool acknowledged his rival’s prowess. “Deegan is riding really good right now… I’m just anxious to get healthy so I can get up there and battle,” he affirmed, indicating his determination to challenge for podium positions.
As the season progresses, Masterpool remains committed to fine-tuning his performance, eager to leverage both his evolving skills and team support in the relentless pursuit of success within Pro Motocross.
