Parker Ross Emerges as a Competitive Force in Pro Motocross
Parker Ross, a name gaining attention in the motocross community, made significant strides this past weekend at the RedBud round of the Pro Motocross Championship. After debuting as a professional racer last summer in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Ross has continued to refine his performance since his early days at the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.
Currently riding for the Toyota Redlands BarX Yamaha team, Ross has built upon a solid foundation laid during his initial stint with the SLAM LIFE Racing Honda team. This year, he notched a top-ten finish with a ninth place in Arizona’s Triple Crown—a highlight in an otherwise competitive seven-race 250SX season.
At RedBud, Ross showcased his growing capabilities by securing 11th and 10th place finishes in the two motos, earning him an overall eighth position—his best result to date. “I’m really happy to break into the top ten overall,” Ross stated following the race. “Every point counts, and I’m focused on improving each week.”
Teammate Dilan Schwartz also showed potential, with a notable seventh place finish in the second moto. However, Schwartz’s overall performance was hindered by a DNF in the first moto, resulting in a 38th place ranking. The pairing of Ross and Schwartz presents a promising prospect for the BarX Yamaha team, both riders exhibiting determination and competitiveness.
As the season progresses, eyes will be on Ross to see if he can secure a top-five finish, further establishing himself in the professional ranks of motocross.
