Audi Secures Title Sponsorship with Revolut for 2026 F1 Debut
Zurich, Switzerland – Audi has confirmed a significant title sponsorship deal with financial technology firm Revolut as it prepares for its inaugural Formula 1 season in 2026. This partnership marks Revolut’s debut in F1 and replaces the previous title sponsor, Stake, as the Sauber team transitions to an Audi works outfit.
Audi’s deal with Revolut, valued at approximately $45 billion, is described as a “landmark agreement." The collaboration aims to utilize Formula 1 as a platform for technological innovation and sustainable investment in the Audi brand. CEO Gernot Dollner stated, “We are entering Formula 1 with a clear ambition… We firmly believe in the success of our project, which we are approaching with a realistic attitude and a mindset of continuous improvement.”
Revolut is set to integrate its financial technology into the team’s operations, enhancing efficiency and fan engagement. With over 60 million customers, Revolut plans to offer exclusive benefits to its users as part of the partnership.
Team principal Jonathan Wheatley emphasized the mutual innovation ethos: “This is more than a brand fit; it is a strategic alliance… delivering a seamless and engaging experience on and off the track.”
Revolut’s CEO Nik Storonsky highlighted the partnership’s potential for growth, stating, “As we accelerate towards 100 million customers, we’ll bring them into Formula 1 with unforgettable experiences… this partnership will define what’s possible in Formula 1.”
