Roczen Set for Return at Unadilla After Injury Layoff
In a surprise announcement today, Ken Roczen confirmed via Instagram that he will compete in the upcoming Unadilla National next weekend, stating simply, “Well, I’m gonna come race Unadilla next weekend 😃 F#%* it.”
The German rider has been sidelined since late April due to a right ankle injury sustained during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, where he completed only 15 races. Despite his struggles, Roczen demonstrated resilience, securing a victory at the Daytona Supercross and achieving seven podium finishes throughout the season.
This year’s Unadilla National marks Roczen’s return to Pro Motocross, echoing his comeback last year where he finished seventh overall with a 7-6 performance. In a noteworthy context, Roczen holds an impressive track record at Unadilla MX, having claimed three overall wins in the premier class (2016, 2019, and 2021) alongside two podium finishes in the 250 Class.
As the #94 bike prepares for the race, all eyes will be on Roczen to see how he can leverage his history at this track following a challenging injury period.
