Triumph Racing Extends McLellan’s Contract Through 2027
Bristol, UK – Triumph Factory Racing announces a two-year contract extension for rising star Camden McLellan, ensuring his presence in the FIM MX2 World Championship until the end of the 2027 season. McLellan will continue to compete on the race-winning TF 250-X.
Since joining Triumph for the 2024 season, McLellan has quickly established himself as a formidable competitor, securing a podium finish in his third round in Sardinia and overcoming injury setbacks to conclude his inaugural season ranked ninth overall in the championship.
The 2025 season has seen further advancements; McLellan claimed second place at the Sardinia round and followed that with his first moto victory in Italy. Most recently, he secured a second overall finish at the challenging Lommel track in Belgium. With four rounds left in the season, he currently sits sixth in the MX2 standings.
“Continuing with Triumph Factory Racing is a real honor,” McLellan stated. “We’ve built a solid foundation together, and my goal is to secure the MX2 World Championship. I’m excited about the future and determined to finish this season strong.”
Team management echoed their confidence in McLellan’s potential. “We truly believe in Camden’s talent and work ethic. Together, we’ve achieved significant milestones, and we’re focused on future podium finishes and race victories,” said a team representative.
Triumph highlighted McLellan’s role in their evolving race program since the brand’s entry into the MX2 circuit, stating, “His growth as a racer has been pivotal, and we’re eager to see what we can accomplish together moving forward.”
As McLellan gears up for the next phase of his career, the focus remains on maximizing performance in the remaining races, aiming for the overall championship title before transitioning out of the MX2 class due to age limits.
