MissionH24 and Toyota Highlight Hydrogen Advancements at FIA WEC 6 Hours of Fuji
This weekend’s FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) 6 Hours of Fuji event in Japan will feature significant developments in hydrogen technology, as MissionH24 and Toyota Gazoo Racing come together to showcase their collaborative efforts.
The partnership, announced in June during the Le Mans race week, focuses on the aerodynamics and cooling systems of the upcoming H24EVO prototype. A press conference is scheduled for Saturday at 12:35 PM in the Fuji Speedway fan zone, where both organizations are expected to discuss the project’s progress and implications for future mobility.
In a unique demonstration of hydrogen’s potential, Saturday will also see a Circuit Safari, marking the first time a hydrogen-powered bus will circulate the track alongside FIA WEC Hypercar and LMGT3 cars, further emphasizing the commitment to sustainable racing solutions.
As the industry moves toward innovative technologies, MissionH24 and Toyota Gazoo Racing are at the forefront of integrating hydrogen into motorsport, positioning it as a viable option for universal mobility.
