Matt Muha to Lead Sebring International Raceway as New President and General Manager
Sebring, FL – Effective January 1, 2026, Matt Muha will assume the role of president and general manager of Sebring International Raceway, succeeding Wayne Estes, who retires after a decade of service on March 31, 2026. Muha, a long-time member of the Sebring team, previously served as senior director of operations.
“I am honored for this opportunity to lead the Sebring team as we prepare for the landmark 75th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in 2027,” stated Muha. Under his leadership, the venue aims to enhance its reputation during an era of growth within IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship racing.
IMSA CEO Ed Bennett expressed confidence in Muha’s capabilities, citing his “deep operational experience and passion for motorsports,” and praised Estes for his significant contributions over the years.
Muha’s tenure has featured major upgrades at the facility, including the Gateway to Green Park Bridge and improvements to accommodations and track services. He also played a critical role in managing NASCAR events, such as the Cup Series Chicago street race and Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez debut.
IMSA President John Doonan acknowledged Muha’s impact, highlighting his commitment to enhancing infrastructure and the fan experience, crucial for Sebring’s standing on the global racing stage.
Estes will remain in an administrative role during the transition. He noted his deep ties to motorsports and gratitude towards the dedicated team, fans, and partners that supported Sebring’s growth.
