FIA WEC to Launch New Streaming Service, FIA WEC+
The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is set to introduce a revamped streaming service, FIA WEC+, for the 2026 season. This initiative comes in response to longstanding fan dissatisfaction regarding the reliability and user interface of the current streaming platform.
The new service aims to provide a more stable and user-friendly experience, addressing critical feedback from the fanbase. While a specific launch date remains unannounced, the platform is currently undergoing testing. Users will need to create new account credentials to access FIA WEC+.
Importantly, the transition to the new service will not impact the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series finale at Yas Marina this weekend; all races and qualifying sessions will continue to be broadcast for free on the series’ YouTube channel.
The FIA WEC’s commitment to improving viewer access reflects a broader trend in motorsports to enhance digital engagement and viewer satisfaction.
