Pato O’Ward, starting from eighth position in his No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevy, finished second in the warm-up, indicating potential for a strong race strategy. Colton Herta matched his qualifying position, securing third in his No. 26 Andretti Global Honda. Scott Dixon demonstrated resilience by improving to fourth place in his No. 9 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda, despite starting 26th in the main event.
