Yamaha Signs Jeremy Martin for 2025 Pro Motocross Season
MARIETTA, Ga. – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has officially announced the signing of two-time 250MX Champion Jeremy Martin for the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Martin, returning to racing after a significant hiatus, will compete aboard the YZ250F.
The Millville, Minnesota native boasts a storied history with the team, having secured consecutive 250MX titles in 2014 and 2015 and finishing as the runner-up in both 2017 and 2020. With a total of 20 career victories in the 250MX class, Martin made his professional debut with Yamaha in 2012 and returned for successful campaigns in 2021 and 2022, despite battling injuries that limited his participation in full seasons.
As he prepares for the season opener at Fox Raceway in Pala, California, Martin expresses enthusiasm about rejoining the team and competing at a high level again.
“We’re excited to welcome back J Mart to the team for the outdoor season," said a team spokesperson. "He’s a proven title contender and knows what it takes to win. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do this summer.”
Martin stated, “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to line up this Saturday. It’s been a lot of fun grinding with the crew during the week and building myself back up to a competitive level. I’m excited to get behind the gate and enjoy the process!”
With this significant addition, Yamaha aims to strengthen its position in the championship as the outdoor season begins.
