adidas Unveils Summer Collection Ahead of Miami GP

MIAMI, FL – In a strategic move to enhance their presence in the motorsports apparel market, adidas has launched a vibrant summer collection inspired by the mangroves of Miami, coinciding with the growing anticipation for the Miami Grand Prix this May.

The collection features distinct designs that incorporate black graphics of mangrove leaves, complemented by bold coral and burgundy hues. Notably, this collection includes a driver’s jersey set to be worn by George Russell and rising star Kimi Antonelli, along with a variety of fan merchandise such as t-shirts, jackets, and loungewear.

Michael Batz, General Manager of the Motorsport category at adidas, articulated the vision behind the collection: “Our first race-specific collection delivers on that with its bold design that celebrates the natural roots of Miami. This year’s summer collection is a reflection of how our sport and team have grown and reached new audiences.”

Richard Sanders, Chief Commercial Officer of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating that the collaboration with adidas aims to “bring a fresh perspective” to the team’s merchandise.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the collection, available through select adidas accounts and the official adidas website. The launch represents a concerted effort to merge the essence of Miami’s vibrant culture with the high-octane world of Formula 1 racing, underlining the synergy between sport, style, and local identity.
