A standout example is the collaboration between Red Bull Racing and 1Password, showcased through a special livery for F1 Academy driver Alisha Palmowski during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend.

Red Bull announced its partnership with 1Password, naming the cybersecurity company its official partner ahead of the 2023 season. The collaboration extends to the F1 Academy, where Palmowski competes for Campos Racing, embodying the Red Bull brand with a custom-designed livery.

The new livery, created by Canadian artist Kirsten McCrea, was unveiled during a promotional event in Toronto. This design marks an intersection of motorsport and local art, celebrating both female representation and Canadian culture—elements central to the identity of 1Password, which is headquartered in Toronto.

Julia George, Red Bull’s Director of Partnerships, emphasized the goal of promoting female talent in motorsport. "F1 Academy is a platform to not only showcase female talent on and off track but also to bring more female fans into the world of motorsport," she stated. She highlighted the importance of maintaining team identity while allowing creative expression.

Technical Insights
The livery reflects Red Bull’s commitment to distinctive branding. George highlighted, "While creative interpretation is encouraged, we ensure that the car retains recognizable elements of our identity." The livery features core Red Bull branding integrated with McCrea’s artistic vision.

1Password COO Jeannie de Guzman articulated the broader significance of their involvement: “Supporting Alisha Palmowski goes far beyond a sponsorship; we’re also protecting her digital life to help her focus on winning.” She stressed the company’s mission to foster inclusivity and representation in both motorsport and tech.

Palmowski’s Performance
At just 18 years old, Palmowski has shown promise in her rookie season, currently sitting fourth in the championship standings after securing victory in the season opener in Shanghai.
