Lando Norris Provides Update on Damaged Ferrari F40 Following Monaco Crash

Lando Norris has addressed the condition of his damaged Ferrari F40, valued at approximately $2.5 million, following a crash that occurred while lending the vehicle to an unnamed friend during the New Year celebrations in Monaco.

The incident unfolded on the winding roads near Monte Carlo, where the driver lost control during a left-hand bend, resulting in the car spinning and colliding with the barriers, inflicting significant damage to the rear of the vehicle. Footage of the crash has since gained widespread traction on social media.

In an interview with The Sun, Norris stated, "No [it is not back to normal]. It was when I was away. I wasn’t happy at all." The Ferrari F40 is one of only 1,311 units produced between 1987 and 1992, known for being the last model overseen by Enzo Ferrari and the first street-legal car to break the 200 mph mark.

Reflecting on his automotive collection, Norris mentioned a Lamborghini Miura, sharing, "I bought it because I watched the Lamborghini movie. It’s one of the best-looking cars ever made." He emphasized his preference for classic cars, noting, "McLarens have been the ones that I’ve spent the most time making and doing special touches on."

Ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, Norris was spotted in a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, showcasing his passion for high-performance vehicles.
