Adrian Newey Documentary Project Announced
London, UK — Renowned Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey is the subject of an upcoming documentary titled Turbulence: The Greatest Mind in F1. The film will be co-produced by Artists Equity, with leading figures Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Kyle Wheeler among the executive producers, alongside Whisper and Mark Stewart Productions.
This documentary will explore Newey’s efforts to elevate Aston Martin to championship contention, while reflecting on pivotal moments in his storied career, including his success with Red Bull Racing and the tragic loss of Ayrton Senna at Williams in 1994.
Newey expressed initial hesitation about participating, saying, “While flattered, I was not sure whether to accept… However, the positive response to my autobiography made me realize the potential impact of sharing my experiences. I hope this film can portray the passion, the working practice, and the strength of mind involved in bringing an F1 car to the grid.”
The documentary aims to address the significant regulatory changes facing the sport and dive into Newey’s career trajectory, particularly as he embarks on this new challenge with Aston Martin.
