The steering wheel was stolen around 2:30 PM on Friday, with the vehicle belonging to a display commemorating F1 legend Eddie Jordan. Police released a CCTV image of an individual they wish to question regarding this incident. In a separate event on the same day, three YouTubers—known as AngryGinge, Chazza, and SamHam—were arrested on suspicion of causing damage to an F1 car. The police reported that significant damage, amounting to several thousand pounds, was inflicted after individuals accessed the vehicle display. The suspects, aged 23 to 27, were detained for approximately 15 hours before being released without charge following a thorough investigation.
Police stated, “Following initial inquiries, suspects were identified. Officers worked swiftly to address the report of criminal damage.” The three men maintain their innocence regarding the allegations.
As the British Grand Prix concluded, the focus returned to the track, where a celebratory atmosphere prevailed amidst the incidents that drew attention away from the racing action.
