Red Bull Racing Faces Turbulent Transition Following Horner’s Departure

Former F1 driver Johnny Herbert has voiced concerns over Red Bull’s future, describing the situation as "precarious." In his assessment, the exit of key figures such as Horner, Adrian Newey, and Jonathan Wheatley has eroded the structural stability essential for success in Formula 1. "Now, it’s going to be a really difficult period for them," Herbert stated, highlighting the impact of these personnel changes on the team’s direction.
Current performance metrics reflect Red Bull’s struggles this season, as they sit fourth in the constructors’ standings, trailing leaders McLaren by 288 points. Herbert noted that the team’s ongoing performance issues contribute to discontent within its driver ranks, particularly concerning reigning champion Max Verstappen. "Max wants to be in a situation of winning races and a world championship, and that sort of has slowly eroded away over the last year and a half," he emphasized.
