Haas F1 Team Partners with Infobip in Major Sponsorship Deal
Miami, FL – Ahead of its home race at the Miami Grand Prix, Haas F1 Team has solidified a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Infobip, a Croatian communications platform with a reported revenue exceeding $1.8 billion in 2022. Infobip, which provides solutions for major companies like Google and Uber, aims to enhance interactions between Haas and its fanbase through innovative technologies, including conversational AI.
Mark Morrell, Haas’ director of marketing, expressed pride in the announcement, stating, “It’s a very proud day for us here, not only for another home race but in revealing our partnership with Infobip. You’ve probably interacted with them through various services and apps on your phone.”
This partnership marks Infobip’s inaugural foray into the sports industry. Ivan Ostojić, the company’s chief business officer, emphasized the synergy between the two entities: “We see Haas as a team that embodies a spirit of innovation and disruption in the sport,” he noted. “F1 is about engineering excellence, where milliseconds matter, making it the perfect fit for our expertise.”
Ostojić further highlighted the significance of engaging a younger demographic, noting, “Nine out of ten Gen Z individuals prefer texting businesses or sports teams over making calls.” The partnership aims to leverage this trend, using Haas as a platform to connect effectively with the emerging generation of fans.
The Infobip branding will prominently feature on the cars of drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, signaling a strategic move to increase visibility and enhance communication strategies within the motorsport arena.
As Haas continues to build its identity in Formula 1, this partnership with Infobip may usher in a new era of technological integration and fan engagement for the American outfit.
