Genesis Secures Jaminet for 2026 After Porsche Triumphs in 2025

Porsche’s successful 2025 season in both the IMSA SportsCar and World Endurance Championships has seen star driver Mathieu Jaminet make a significant career move. After playing a pivotal role alongside Matt Campbell in clinching the IMSA GTP title, Jaminet is set to join Genesis for the 2026 season.

While the Porsche duo showcased consistency throughout the season, notable performances included Jaminet’s standout drive at Sebring and Campbell’s impressive outing at Daytona, despite finishing behind their sister Porsche Penske Motorsport entry on both occasions.

Jaminet’s capabilities were further highlighted during the World Endurance Championship race at Fuji, where he replaced Michael Christensen and emerged as the fastest driver for Porsche Penske Motorsport. This performance solidifies his value ahead of his transition to Genesis, signaling a promising future for both the driver and his new team.
