Daytona International Speedway Sets Dates for 2027 Rolex 24
Daytona International Speedway has announced that the 65th edition of the Rolex 24 will be held from January 28-31, 2027. The Roar Before the Rolex 24, a critical pre-race event, is scheduled for January 22-24, 2027.
Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway, emphasized the importance of early scheduling to accommodate the influx of fans traveling from across the U.S. and around the globe. “With so many fans participating in North America’s most prestigious sports car race, we wanted to give them ample time for travel and lodging arrangements,” Kelleher stated.
This adjustment in the calendar also allows for a better alignment with other major events at the speedway, including the rescheduled 69th Daytona 500, set for February 21, 2027.
In the previous Rolex 24, held in 2026, Porsche Penske Motorsport secured victory with a No. 7 Porsche 963 driven by Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy, and Laurens Vanthoor. Nasr was the only driver from that trio to return for the 2027 event.
The upcoming Rolex 24 is scheduled for January 21-25, 2026, with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 taking place from January 16-18, 2026.
Fans and teams are eagerly anticipating the return to Daytona, as this iconic endurance race continues to attract top-tier talent and competitive entries in the motorsports arena.
