Era Motorsport Unveils Livery and Driver Line-Up for Rolex 24 at Daytona
Era Motorsport has unveiled its new purple and white livery while confirming its driver lineup for the upcoming Rolex 24 at Daytona. The team will feature Formula 1 driver Logan Sargeant, multi-time LMP2 champion Ferdinand Habsburg, and Bronze-rated driver Naveen Rao behind the wheel of the No. 18 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2.
This event marks Sargeant’s inaugural participation in the Rolex 24, following his debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks in Indianapolis. “I’m super excited to be tackling my first-ever Daytona 24 with Era to kick off 2026,” said Sargeant. “It’s a race I’ve always wanted to be part of.”
Rao, the 2020 IMSA Prototype Challenge champion, returns to the WeatherTech series at Daytona, building on his two previous appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a full season in the 2024-25 Asian Le Mans Series. “I’m thrilled to be joining Era Motorsport for the 2026 IMSA season. We’ve built a strong team and I’m confident in what we can do together,” Rao stated.
Habsburg joins the team as a veteran of endurance racing, having captured titles in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European and Asian Le Mans Series. “There is something truly special about starting the season in Daytona,” Habsburg noted, emphasizing his determination to secure a Rolex after nearly clinching it in 2022.
Era Motorsport plans to announce its fourth driver for Daytona and additional lineup for the IMSA Endurance Cup at a later date. The provisional entry list includes Indy NXT driver James Roe as a designated Silver driver alongside Rao, Habsburg, and Sargeant.
Team owner Kyle Tilley remarked, “The LMP2 class is the most competitive it’s ever been, so we know it’s going to be tough. But just like every other year, we’re here to win.”
With the focus set on the Rolex 24, the team aims to leverage their experience to contend for victory amidst an exceptionally competitive field.
