AO Racing Unveils Skeleton Liveries for Motul Petit Le Mans

Road Atlanta, GA – AO Racing is gearing up for an exciting Halloween-themed appearance at the Motul Petit Le Mans, showcasing unique black and white skeleton liveries on their No. 77 Porsche 911 GT3 R, known as “Rexy,” and the No. 99 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2, dubbed “Spike.” The event, set for next week at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, will also see the team host a Halloween costume party during their driver autograph session on Friday at 1:00 PM ET, encouraging fans to attend in costume.

In a critical showdown for the LMP2 Drivers’ Championship, PJ Hyett and Dane Cameron will compete against each other, bolstered by Michelin Endurance Cup specialist Jonny Edgar. They enter the final race of the IMSA season with a commanding 75-point lead over United Autosports USA’s Daniel Goldburg. Additionally, Hyett is in a strong position for the Jim Trueman Award, which provides an automatic invitation to the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans for the top LMP2 Bronze driver.

Meanwhile, the GTD PRO title is no longer within reach for Rexy and driver Laurin Heinrich, who, along with Klaus Bachler, aim to conclude the season on a high note. They will be supported by Michael Christensen of Porsche Penske Motorsport, who previously raced for AO Racing.

This unique blend of festive spirit and fierce competition sets the stage for an electrifying Petit Le Mans.
