Kenton Koch Joins Triarsi Competizione for Chevrolet Grand Prix at CTMP

Kenton Koch, fresh off a podium finish at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, has secured a seat for this weekend’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, stepping in to drive the No. 021 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3. Koch will team with Onofrio Triarsi, who transitions from the No. 023 Ferrari, which has primarily participated in the Michelin Endurance Cup events.

This marks the third distinct driver lineup for the No. 021 Ferrari in the current season. Initially paired with Sheena Monk and Stevan McAleer, the team encountered changes after the Watkins Glen race, resulting in a new trio of AJ Muss, Alessandro Balzan, and Jason Hart.

At Watkins Glen, Koch, alongside Daniel Morad and Mikey Taylor, clinched the No. 32 Korthoff Mercedes-AMG GT3’s first podium of the season, elevating Koch to sixth in the GTD drivers’ standings, 192 points behind Winward Racing’s Russell Ward and Philip Ellis.

Taylor’s late entry for the Glen race replaced full-time driver Seth Lucas, following which the Korthoff team’s online presence was significantly altered, stripping their social media accounts of 2025 season material linked to the partnership with Herb Korthoff.

Addressing the situation, Koch remarked on social media, "It’s not for a lack of results and good times… I don’t have too much clarity on the situation and have no shade to throw on anyone. I would appreciate y’all’s patience in asking the obvious question of why."
