Myers Riley Racing Unveils 2026 Ford Mustang GT3 Driver Line-Up

Myers Riley Racing has officially announced its driver roster for the No. 16 Ford Mustang GT3, a collaborative effort between Riley Motorsports and automotive enthusiast Ross Myers. The team will feature Felipe Fraga, Sheena Monk, and Jenson Altzman for the upcoming season.

Felipe Fraga, a seasoned competitor with a strong pedigree, returns for his seventh year with Riley. The 2022 Rolex 24 At Daytona LMP3 champion and 2016 Brazilian Stock Car Pro champion has extensive experience in both LMP3 and LMP2 competitions, having raced alongside Gar Robinson in previous seasons.

Sheena Monk comes on board as a full-time driver after a partial stint with Triarsi Competizione. Monk expressed her enthusiasm for racing the Mustang, noting, “As a proud American, there’s something deeply meaningful about racing a Ford Mustang once again.” She aims to compete for the Bob Akin Award, which honors the top Bronze driver in the GTD class and offers an automatic invitation to the 2027 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Joining them is Jenson Altzman, a member of the Ford Racing Driver Development Team, who makes his GT3 debut after a part-time season with Gradient Racing, where he achieved a fifth-place finish at VIRginia International Raceway. Altzman also secured a second-place finish in this year’s Michelin Pilot Challenge GS championship, driving a Mustang GT4.

Bill Riley, co-owner of Riley Motorsports, praised the team’s composition, stating, “Felipe’s racecraft and tenacity have made him a force on track… aligning him with Jenson and Sheena’s years of IMSA competition creates a formidable line-up.”

The new Mustang GT3, anticipated to be the 2026 Evo model, will make its first appearance at the IMSA Sanctioned Test at Daytona from November 15-17. The team will announce its fourth driver for the Rolex 24 At Daytona in due course.
