Pfaff Motorsports Reveals Driver Lineup for 2026 IMSA Season

Pfaff Motorsports has officially announced its driver lineup for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Lamborghini Squadra Corse drivers Andrea Caldarelli and Sandy Mitchell will race for the full season, marking a significant partnership for the Canadian team.

Mitchell, stepping in for Marco Mapelli, will make his full-time IMSA debut after previously participating in select races, including a notable fill-in at last season’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. Their campaign will kick off at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, where Caldarelli and Mitchell will team up with Mirko Bortolotti and James Hinchcliffe, the latter transitioning from an IndyCar champion to commentator.

Following Daytona, the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 will debut at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, with Franck Perera announced as the third driver alongside Caldarelli and Mitchell for the Sebring and Petit Le Mans events.

The PFaff team recently conducted an endurance test at Sebring International Raceway, utilizing the Temerario GT3. Drivers Caldarelli, Mapelli, Perera, and Mitchell participated, ensuring the car is competitive ahead of its March debut.

Looking ahead, Pfaff Motorsports aims to achieve its first IMSA victory since the 2023 Twelve Hours of Sebring, with the No. 9 Lamborghini’s best result last season being a third-place finish in Detroit.
