WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Secures New Sponsorships with Tire Rack

In a strategic partnership, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca has finalized a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Tire Rack, a leading consumer-direct retailer specializing in automotive tires and accessories. The deal includes naming rights for the iconic “Tire Bridge” spanning between Turns 3 and 4, alongside title sponsorship for the upcoming TireRack.com Monterey Sportscar Championship weekend, scheduled for May 9–11.

As part of this collaboration, Tire Rack will contribute to refurbishing the famed pedestrian bridge, emphasizing the branding and enhancing visitor experience. Lauri Eberhart, CEO of Friends of Laguna Seca, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Upgrading the fan experience and delivering incredible on-track moments are our shared goals.”

Tire Rack has been involved with motorsports as an associate sponsor for Team Penske in the NTT IndyCar Series since 2022. The series will return to the venue for the IndyCar Grand Prix of Monterey from July 25-27, further solidifying Tire Rack’s presence in the motorsports arena.

With a strong reputation as America’s largest independent tire tester, Tire Rack offers a comprehensive online purchasing experience and numerous installation options for consumers. Senior Vice President of Marketing, Woody Rogers, remarked on the partnership, noting, “The culture of automotive enthusiasts at Laguna Seca is strong and authentic,” highlighting the connection between the venue and Tire Rack’s brand identity.

This partnership marks a significant step in Laguna Seca’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its facilities and services for competitors and fans alike.
