Andretti Global Finalizes Crew Chiefs and Engineering Assignments for 2026 IndyCar Season

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Andretti Global has announced its key personnel for the 2026 IndyCar Series, ensuring a strong foundation of continuity alongside strategic changes.

Driver Lineup
The team will retain two-thirds of its 2025 driver roster: Kyle Kirkwood returns after securing a fourth-place finish in the championship with the No. 27 Honda, and Marcus Ericsson, who placed 20th in the No. 28 Honda. Will Power joins the lineup, taking over the No. 26 entry, previously piloted by Colton Herta, who is moving to Formula 2. Power concluded the last season with a ninth-place standing while driving for Team Penske in the No. 12 Chevy.

Engineering Assignments
The crew chief structure remains unchanged across all three cars. Nick Allen will continue to lead the No. 26 team, Scott Marks will oversee the No. 27, and Neil Campbell stays with the No. 28. Rob Edwards, COO of Andretti, confirmed the strategy to maintain consistency in crew leadership.

In a notable shift, Will Power will collaborate with Andy Listes as his race engineer. Listes, who recently led Dennis Hauger to the Indy NXT championship, replaces Nathan O’Rourke, who is transitioning to a new role within Andretti’s engineering team after a successful tenure with Herta, which included nine wins and 16 poles.

“Andy is awesome and I’m super happy that he has agreed to do that,” Edwards stated. “We’re excited for what we believe this combination of Will and Andy can produce.”

Jeremy Milless will continue as race engineer for Kirkwood in the No. 27 car.

For Ericsson, Ron Barhorst will join as his new race engineer in 2026. Barhorst, a veteran of both the IndyCar and Indy NXT series, replaces the previous engineers after Ericsson’s two challenging seasons with Olivier Boisson and Dave Seyffert.

Edwards emphasized the team’s ability to adapt: “We had to pivot a bit when Nathan sought to step back, but it’s great to have talented people already in-house to go.”

As Andretti Global prepares for the competitive 2026 season, the combination of experienced drivers and engineers positions the team to build on past performances while strategically aligning their resources for future success.
