Ed Carpenter Racing to Construct New Facility in Westfield, Indiana

Ed Carpenter Racing (ECR) announced plans to develop a new 76,000-square-foot facility in Westfield, Indiana, with groundbreaking scheduled for 2026 and completion anticipated in 2027. The facility will be strategically located at the Grand Park Sports Campus, just south of the Grand Park Event Center.

This state-of-the-art complex aims to serve as ECR’s operational hub, incorporating advanced engineering and technical development spaces. The initiative will also feature a retail component, including a full-service merchandise store and an on-site Java House café to enhance fan engagement.

The project is set to significantly improve visitor access, with the inclusion of Westfield’s first city-funded parking garage at Grand Park. This development is part of a broader master plan for the area, which is expected to draw in an increasing number of visitors annually.

Team owner Ed Carpenter emphasized the importance of this venture, stating, “The opportunity to build a world-class facility within Grand Park was something we could not pass up. This project supports our goals for both team growth and expanding IndyCar’s reach."

The facility is positioned to elevate ECR’s profile within the motorsports community and attract new fans, capitalizing on the momentum of the sport.
