The Indianapolis 500 commanded a significant television audience this Sunday, with Nielsen’s Fast ratings reporting an average viewership of 7,087,000—up from an initial estimate of 7,050,000. This marks a notable increase of 41% compared to last year’s audience of 5,024,000 on NBC.
In addition, when combining the viewership of the Indianapolis 500 with the five prior races aired on FOX, the overall average has surged by 30%. The average audience over these events increased from 1,830,000 in 2024 to 2,383,000 this year.
