Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Extends Contract with Rising Star Louis Foster
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) has confirmed a multi-year contract extension with British driver Louis Foster, securing his position with the team for the foreseeable future. The 22-year-old emerged as a prominent talent in 2024, clinching the Indy NXT championship and earning the IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year title in 2025.
“I’m really happy to extend my contract with RLL,” Foster stated. “Having that consistency means a lot—it’s great knowing who I’ll be working with over the next few years. We’ve built a strong, trusting group, and that familiarity allows us to improve together. I believe that consistency will pay off in the long run.”
The extension follows RLL’s recent multi-year sponsorship agreement with Droplight, which has bolstered the team’s resources and made this renewed commitment to Foster possible.
Team founder Bobby Rahal praised Foster’s performance, stating, “I was very pleased with the job that Louis did this season; he exceeded our expectations. Given his talent and potential, extending his contract made perfect sense. I’m confident he will be running up front regularly in the coming years.”
With this extension, RLL aims to leverage Foster’s capabilities as they move into the next competitive season, establishing a promising trajectory for both the driver and the team.
