Meyer Shank Racing Celebrates Longtime Employees with Special Recognition

In a heartwarming gesture, Meyer Shank Racing honored its most tenured employees at the annual holiday party last Friday. Team owners Michael Shank and Jim Meyer presented Rolex watches to five individuals who have played pivotal roles in the team’s success over the years.

Darin Pigg, a gearbox specialist with over 30 years of service, along with logistics coordinator Ralph Lohr (26 years), mechanic and crew chief Justin Harnisfager (20 years), team manager Jason Givens (20 years), and graphics specialist Kevin Wimer (20 years), received this acknowledgment of their dedication to the Ohio-based team.

“This is something that I’ve always wanted to do,” Shank stated. “It all comes down to what the basis of this team is: treating people well, wanting to come to work every day and loyalty.”

This recognition reflects the organization’s commitment to fostering a loyal and dedicated workforce, essential for their continued competitiveness in the motorsports arena. The congratulatory event reaffirms the team’s values and the importance of employee appreciation in maintaining success.
