Meyer Shank Racing Unveils Music-Themed Livery for Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio
Meyer Shank Racing (MSR) has launched a striking music-themed livery for the No. 60 Honda, featuring iconic rock artists Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath in collaboration with sponsor SiriusXM. This unique design will debut at the Honda Indy 200 held at Mid-Ohio this weekend.
The release coincides with Ozzy Osbourne’s "Final Show at the Back to the Beginning" concert in England on Saturday, enhancing the promotional significance of the vehicle’s design. Over the past seasons, the No. 60 Honda has showcased a variety of artists, including Bon Jovi, Creed, and Diplo.
Felix Rosenqvist, driver of the No. 60 Honda, expressed enthusiasm for the new livery, stating, "I can’t wait to represent Ozzy and Ozzy’s Boneyard at Mid-Ohio. The livery is totally different than anything we have ever done before…having Ozzy on the car—literally, his face is on the car—will be pretty epic."
The Honda Indy 200 is a pivotal event in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar, and the creative partnership with SiriusXM highlights the ongoing trend of integrating motorsports with popular culture. As teams look to differentiate themselves on and off the track, innovative marketing strategies like this continue to gain traction within the industry.
