Nolan Siegel Cleared to Race at Honda Indy Toronto Following Iowa Crash
Nolan Siegel will make his return to IndyCar competition this weekend at the Honda Indy Toronto, driving the No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevy. The 20-year-old driver received medical clearance after a significant crash during the first of the Sukup-sponsored doubleheader at Iowa Speedway, which sidelined him for Race 2.
Siegel’s absence from Sunday’s event was a disappointment, particularly after qualifying an impressive fifth on Saturday. "Missing out on Sunday’s race in Iowa was definitely tough, especially after qualifying fifth,” he stated. “After a week of rest and recovery, I’m looking forward to being back in the car. We’ve got a fresh SmartStop livery to debut, so I’m hoping we can put together a strong result and make it a good one for the whole crew."
With renewed focus and a new look, Siegel aims to capitalize on the upcoming race, leveraging both his past performance and recent downtime to secure a competitive finish.
