Team Penske Announces Significant Personnel Changes Ahead of Indianapolis 500

In a swift response to recent technical violations during qualifying, Team Penske has announced the departure of key personnel just days before the Indianapolis 500. The team confirmed that INDYCAR Team President Tim Cindric, Managing Director Ron Ruzewski, and General Manager Kyle Moyer will no longer be part of the organization.

In an official statement, Team Penske emphasized the need for accountability and integrity within the sport. Team owner Roger Penske remarked, “Nothing is more important than the integrity of our sport and our race teams. We have had organizational failures during the last two years, and we had to make necessary changes. I apologize to our fans, our partners and our organization for letting them down.”

Further announcements regarding new appointments and structural adjustments are expected later this week, as the team prepares for one of motorsports’ most prestigious events.
