2023 Mini SR and 250 Pro Sport Highlights
Mini Sr. 2 Results
During the opening moto of Mini Sr. 2, Dylan Graham on the MRPSBR Husqvarna initially secured the holeshot, but was quickly overtaken by Cooper Johnson of Triangle Cycles BLU CRU Yamaha, who established early control. Elliott Bowsher (Altus Motorsports GASGAS) and Hannah Jamison (GASGAS) followed closely.
As the race progressed, Maddox Temmerman of Husqvarna showcased impressive speed, overtaking Johnson on the final lap after a critical error from Johnson. Temmerman clinched victory by 2.2 seconds, with Johnson finishing second. Tayce Morgan (Altus Motorsports BLU CRU Yamaha), Alex Campigli (GASGAS), and Bowsher rounded out the top five.
Moto 2 for Mini Sr. 2 is scheduled for Wednesday.
Mini Sr. 1 Insights
In the first moto of Mini Sr. 1, Jaxon Lang (Gresham Powersports Husqvarna) grabbed the holeshot. However, Temmerman surged from a seventh-place start to take the lead before a crash on lap three allowed Tayce Morgan (Yamaha) to take over. Temmerman quickly remounted in second.
Morgan maintained his lead until Temmerman clocked a lap nearly three seconds faster, reclaiming the front position late in the race to secure his second win of the day. Morgan finished second, while Dylan Graham, Campigli, and Hudson Vagele (KTM) completed the top five.
Moto 2 for Mini Sr. 1 is scheduled for Thursday.
250 Pro Sport Highlights
The first moto of 250 Pro Sport featured competitive racing from the onset. Diesel Thomas (Munn Racing Husqvarna) achieved the holeshot but fell, allowing Landen Gordon (Monster Energy Kawasaki) to take the lead. After overcoming a fall, Enzo Temmerman (Kawasaki) surged from a strong midfield position to win the moto by an impressive 25 seconds after taking the lead midway. Gordon finished second, followed by a notable performance from Landon Gibson (Husqvarna) in third.
Moto 2 for 250 Pro Sport is scheduled for Wednesday.
Junior (25+) Class Performance
In the Junior class, Jacob Baumert (Crosley Radio Yamaha) took an early lead after a fierce battle at the holeshot. His dominance continued as he built a substantial lead, finishing 15.7 seconds ahead of Heath Harrison (Husqvarna). Jake Weimer (Honda) secured third, with Ezra Hastings (KTM) and Luke Vonlinger (Honda) completing the top five.
Moto 2 for Junior (25+) is scheduled for Thursday.
