Buchanan, Michigan – The second SMX Next – Scouting Moto Combine unfolded today at RedBud MX, gathering over 20 promising motocross prospects. This event, designed as a platform for emerging talent, featured two qualifying sessions followed by two motos, with additional educational elements about the professional motocross circuit.

Qualifying Sessions

Carson Wood experienced a bike issue early in the session, appearing at mechanics’ row while the field launched into their first laps. He quickly resolved the issue and recorded the fastest lap of the session at 2:05.849, surpassing Gordon’s 2:07.084 and Jesson Turner’s 2:07.804.
The time sheets indicated that eight of the top ten fastest laps were clocked on the second lap, reflecting the riders’ acclimatization to the track’s challenging conditions.
