Team USA Announces Roster for 2025 Motocross of Nations
In advance of the Ironman National round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Team USA confirmed its lineup for the 2025 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN). The team will consist of Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton, and Haiden Deegan, set to compete at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, from October 3-5.
Eli Tomac is a seasoned veteran of the MXoN, having represented the U.S. in six previous events, including a second-place finish in 2024 and victories in 2022, 2018, 2014, and 2013. Chase Sexton, the 2023 450SX champion, returns to the MXoN after being part of the gold medal-winning team in 2022 alongside Tomac. Haiden Deegan, the reigning 250SX West champion, will make his debut at the event, adding a fresh dynamic to the team.
Mike Pelletier, AMA Director of Racing, will oversee the U.S. efforts following the retirement of long-time team manager Roger De Coster.
“It’s an honor of a lifetime,” said Pelletier. “We have a tremendous team with proven championship-winning racers. We look forward to defending our home turf.”
Sexton expressed excitement about the upcoming competition: “It’s an honor to represent Team USA, especially at Ironman Raceway, close to where I grew up.”
Tomac echoed similar sentiments: “I’m excited to represent the USA once again this year. I believe our team will be very fast at Ironman!”
Deegan, eager to compete, stated, “I’m stoked to finally be healthy enough to go race for my country and bring that trophy home where it belongs.”
The MXoN remains the premier event in international motocross, showcasing the best riders from around the world as they vie for prestigious national titles. For more details and ticket information, visit mxonusa.com.
