MXGP 2026 Calendar Update: Significant Returns and Season Kick-off Announced
MONACO — Infront Moto Racing has officially unveiled key updates to the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship calendar, highlighted by the return of the iconic MXGP of Argentina and the historic Foxhills circuit in Great Britain.
The season will commence on March 7-8, 2026, at a new lakeside venue in Bariloche, Patagonia, marking a spectacular start to the championship’s MXGP and MX2 campaigns. This event promises to deliver a vibrant atmosphere paired with challenging terrains.
Notably, the Foxhills circuit in Great Britain will host the MXGP of Great Britain on July 18-19, commemorating a 26-year hiatus since the venue last featured in a Motocross Grand Prix. This event will showcase various classes, including MXGP, MX2, WMX, and EMX125, promising an action-packed weekend for fans.
Additionally, the Montevarchi event will streamline its program to feature only the EMX250 class for the upcoming season. Two additional TBA rounds are scheduled, one on April 25-26, incorporating WMX and EMX125, and the other on May 9-10.
The championship aims to replace the EMX125 with EMX250 at Lommel during the MXGP of Flanders, alongside the traditional EMX Open class.
These updates reflect MXGP’s commitment to providing a robust and competitive calendar, balancing tradition with innovation. The 2026 season is set to offer one of the most diverse racing experiences in the series’ history.
