Paris Supercross Preview: SX1 and SX2 Battle Set for Penultimate Round
The Paris Supercross is poised to deliver thrilling action as it approaches its penultimate round for the SX2 French Tour. The event welcomes top-tier competitors in the SX1 class, alongside emerging talents in the SX2 and Junior categories.
Key Participants and Class Structure
Among the standout riders in the SX1 class are:
- Cooper Webb (USA – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing)
- Jess Pettis (Canada – Yamaha VHR)
- Tom Vialle (France – X)
- Jett Lawrence (Australia – American Honda)
- Malcolm Stewart (USA – Husqvarna Factory).
Additionally, the SX2 class features formidable contenders including:
- Calvin Fonvieille (France – KTM TMX)
- Mathys Boisrame (France – 737 Performance KTM)
- Jules Pietre (France – Yamaha TMX).
Wildcard entries include Australians Jake Cannon and Luke Clout, along with German Carl Ostermann.
A highlight will be the Junior class, where Yannis Lopez, undefeated in six rounds, aims to maintain his lead. He will compete against the top ten riders and Tim Lopes, who at age thirteen, will make his debut on a 125cc motorcycle.
Race Format and Schedule
Each day will consist of three SX1 and SX2 races, including a super-pole session, as well as Junior races post-practice. Notably, FMX sessions will enhance the entertainment value throughout the event.
The schedule for Saturday already indicates a sellout crowd, while tickets for Sunday are still available, with gates opening at 10 AM and closing at 5:45 PM.
