Anderson, riding for PMG Suzuki, dominated the start with one more holeshot, quickly establishing control ahead of his rivals from Quad Lock Honda. After briefly losing his second position to Adam Craig, Savatgy swiftly reasserted his pace, shadowing Anderson throughout the race with a consistent two-second gap.
