Austin Forkner Withdraws from Round Four of Monster Energy AMA Supercross Due to Injury

In a significant development ahead of round four of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, Austin Forkner of Triumph Racing has been ruled out of today’s race following a crash during Friday’s press day. The incident occurred at the end of the lengthy rhythm section, resulting in a hand injury that has forced Forkner to withdraw.

Triumph Racing issued a statement confirming his absence: “Unfortunately, @AustinForkner sustained a hand injury during a crash on press day and will not take part in today’s proceedings. Heal up fast Austin!”

This incident follows Forkner’s earlier difficulties; he missed the San Diego SX main event after a crash during qualifying which required a hospital visit, though he returned to compete at Anaheim 2, finishing in 15th and 17th place in his first two 450SX races this season.

Forkner’s absence will be felt as he continues to adjust to the 450cc class, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the sport and the challenges riders face throughout the season.
