Suzuki Unveils Rider Lineup for 2025 Pro Motocross Championship

Brea, CA – Suzuki Motor USA and the Twisted Tea/H.E.P. Motorsports team have officially announced their rider lineup for the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship, transitioning from a competitive Supercross season to outdoor racing. Colt Nichols (45) returns to the squad, joined by new teammate Benoit Paturel (102) as they prepare to battle on the Suzuki RM-Z450s.

Colt Nichols heads into the Pro Motocross season with strong momentum, having recently secured a victory at the Glen Helen warm-up race. His performance sets a promising tone for the upcoming 11-round series.

Benoit Paturel, a seasoned European motocross rider, marks his first full U.S. Motocross season with the team. The Frenchman is a former MXGP race winner and a member of the 2016 Motocross of Nations champion team. Paturel’s addition provides the Suzuki lineup with both depth and international experience.

“I am very excited to compete in my first full season of American Motocross,” said Paturel. “I have been testing on the motorcycle, and I am adapting well to the Suzuki platform.”

Team Manager Larry Brooks acknowledged the challenges ahead, stating, “The motocross season is long and challenging after a tough Supercross campaign. The summer motos will test the team’s strength, and I feel we have prepared well coming into the motocross season. Colt is coming off of a win, and Benoit is a fresh face with a ton of experience.”

In notable news, Ken Roczen (94), who missed the final Supercross rounds due to injury, aims to return at select Pro Motocross events later in the season, pending recovery. Meanwhile, Kyle Chisholm (11) will sit out the outdoor series but plans to compete in the upcoming SuperMotocross World Championship.
