Title: Haiden Deegan Set for 450 Pro Debut in 2026 AMA Motocross Championship

Haiden Deegan, the promising young talent, is poised to make his highly anticipated pro debut in the 450 category at the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, scheduled for May 30 at Fox Raceway in Pala, California. This transition follows a successful tenure in the 250 class, where Deegan secured numerous wins over four seasons.

Deegan’s road to the 450 ranks is being closely monitored, not only for his competitive achievements but also for his technical preparation. According to his father, Brian Deegan, “Haiden has been riding the 450 the last few weeks and getting ready for outdoor motocross… I think the best thing for him is to move up in the outdoor series because it is longer motos and gives you more time to do your thing.” This strategic move aims to ease Deegan into the more demanding landscape of the 450 class, where he will first compete in Motocross before making his Supercross debut the following year.

Brian Deegan emphasized the challenges of the upcoming transition, stating, “Yes, it’s going to be much harder to win. One hundred percent. My point is that, yes, only one guy can win.” He also noted the importance of commitment in achieving championship status, asserting, “You’ve got to be all in… I promise you that you ain’t retiring on that.”

While Deegan is eligible to race in the 250 class for the remainder of 2025, the focus remains on maximizing his development ahead of his debut. The upcoming season promises to be a crucial step in Deegan’s rising career, where the outdoor series will serve as a platform for him to refine his skills before tackling the rigorous demands of 450 Supercross.
