Haiden Deegan Poised for 250SX West Division Championship
Haiden Deegan is on the verge of securing the 250SX West Division Championship following the 250SX East/West Showdown in St. Louis. With only two races remaining on the short 250SX schedule, Deegan’s title opportunity hinges on maintaining a significant lead in points.
To clinch the championship this weekend, Deegan must leave St. Louis with a 50-point advantage over his closest competitors: Max Anstie and Levi Kitchen. Anstie currently trails by 42 points while Kitchen is 47 points behind. If Deegan wins the St. Louis event, either a fifth-place finish or worse by Anstie would lock up the title for Deegan, effectively eliminating Kitchen and the rest of the field.
As the season progresses, all eyes are on Deegan as he approaches this potential milestone, a feat rarely achieved so early in the season. The upcoming races could be pivotal in confirming a historic championship run for the young rider.
