Hymas Shines at Anaheim Supercross Event
Anaheim, CA – Max Hymas delivered a strong performance at the Anaheim Supercross, finishing second after a series of competitive heats. The rider demonstrated impressive skill, qualifying third in timed sessions and maintaining his positioning through to the main event.
In the main event, Hymas started strong, launching off the gate in second place behind Ryder DiFrancesco. Early in the race, he faced stiff competition from Max Anstie, who eventually overtook him to secure the win. Hymas, however, retaliated by passing DiFrancesco and solidifying his second-place position, navigating the track with skill while avoiding the chaos that unfolded behind him.
Reflecting on the race, Hymas remarked on the intensity of his battle with Anstie: “It was a little bit of controlled chaos. It definitely was a little gnarly hearing his bike right next to my head during the triple and sand section. But honestly, it was really fun.” He acknowledged the strategic element of the race, noting, “I knew if I could get past Ryder and log decent laps, I could back it off a bit.”
Hymas’ performance underlined his readiness to compete at a high level, particularly after a lengthy break from racing. The event highlighted both his tactical acumen and competitive spirit, promising an exciting season ahead.
