Cochran and DiFrancesco Deliver Solid Performances at AMA Pro Motocross Championship Opener

Fox Raceway, May 2025 – The 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship kicked off at Fox Raceway, where Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Casey Cochran and Ryder DiFrancesco showcased commendable performances in their respective classes.

Cochran, making his debut, finished 12th overall in the 250MX class. The 18-year-old secured seventh on the combined qualifying timesheets with his GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition before clinching 14th in Moto 1. He improved to 11th in Moto 2, establishing a solid base for the upcoming rounds.

Cochran noted his satisfaction post-race, stating, “It was a decent day for me… I’m happy with how our day went, there are still plenty of improvements to be made."

Teammate DiFrancesco, returning from injury, battled through a challenging first Moto with a 17th-place finish. However, he rebounded in Moto 2, achieving a ninth-place result and securing a top 10 finish overall.

Reflecting on his performance, DiFrancesco remarked, "Just to get a day under my belt is something I have been missing… Moto 2 was a positive for us."

Both riders are set to build on these results as they head into Round 2 at Hangtown next weekend, aiming to capitalize on their early-season momentum.
