GasGas Prepares for 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship
Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing is set to make its mark in the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which kicks off this Saturday at Fox Raceway. The team will field a two-rider roster featuring the promising talents of Ryder DiFrancesco and Casey Cochran in the 250MX class. Notably absent from the early rounds is Justin Barcia, whose return to the 450MX division has been delayed.
Both DiFrancesco and Cochran, equipped with the GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition, are eager to capitalize on their summer campaign after recovering from injuries that hindered their previous 250SX endeavors. The AMA Pro Motocross series spans 11 rounds, beginning in Pala, California, and concluding at Budds Creek in Mechanicsville, Maryland, on August 23.
In his first two outings at 250SX West, DiFrancesco, 20, showcased his potential with top-five finishes but was sidelined before Anaheim 2. Now fully fit, he aims to leverage his experience and previous successes as he enters the outdoor season with renewed vigor.
"I’m excited for Round 1… There’s no feeling like being behind the gate! I want to show these boys that we’ve been putting in the work!" DiFrancesco stated, reflecting the optimism surrounding the team as the championship commences.
With high expectations riding on their shoulders, both riders are positioned to make significant impacts in the 250MX class this summer.
