Colt Nichols Re-Signs with Pipes Motorsports Group for 2026 SuperMotocross Season
Brea, CA – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC has confirmed that Colt Nichols will continue to compete with Pipes Motorsports Group for the 2026 SuperMotocross season. Nichols will ride the RM-Z450 under the Twisted Tea Suzuki presented by Progressive Insurance banner.
Nichols demonstrated considerable potential during his inaugural year with the team, consistently achieving top-10 finishes despite significant injuries. He contended with a shoulder injury during Supercross and a torn UCL in his thumb throughout the Pro Motocross season, yet his resilience was evident as he contributed valuable points to Suzuki’s SuperMotocross campaign in 2025.
Looking ahead to 2026, Nichols is set to enter the season in peak condition following a recovery period, with an emphasis on building on the strong rapport developed with the team’s personnel and the Suzuki platform. His continuous improvement signals promising prospects for the upcoming season.
