Park had previously shown promise, achieving his best qualifying result of the season with a fifth in the initial session and finishing ninth in his heat race, securing a direct transfer to the main event. “I had a good day in Birmingham with my best qualifying result of the year so far. I came out ready to get into the fight early… but unfortunately, on lap one, the rear end kicked out. Team Status:
The Phoenix Racing Honda team faced additional challenges, with Evan Ferry receiving a fine and penalties after a controversial incident involving Pierce Brown in the heat race, pushing his season total into the negatives. Gavin Towers was also sidelined due to a shoulder injury.
